Papa Johns Pizza - Markham

Absolute waste of time trying to deal with this restaurant. Placed an order for five XL pizzas, breadsticks and a side of something else I don’t remember Got the confirmation email and the link to the tracking information, waited patiently for 55 minutes and no food. Mysteriously, the tracking app simply “preparing your order” but no food. When I called the restaurant to try and find out where our order was I was told that they had tried to call me three or four times to let me know that their driver wasn’t working today and they could not deliver At this point, I should mention that my phone didn’t ring once When I asked why they didn’t text me or update the tracking information or why my phone showed zero missed calls. no answer no apology no pizza no nothing So now I have a hungry crew, no food on the way, and a restaurant that can’t get their act together enough to communicate effectively I ended up at the Pizza Pizza down the street we were more than happy to take my $150 pizza order, make the pizzas in 20 minutes and even carry them to my car. Papa John’s you have a lousy customer experience and I hope for your sakes that you sort it out.

Giving this a 5/5 for their handwashing routine alone. I like their pizza, it is on the sweeter side. You can try their cookie pizza too. Parking here is a little confusing. I came at night the first time and wasn't sure where to park. Also for some reason they didn't have the same deals as other locations. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Papa John’s pizza is a family favourite, and the chain’s quality and consistency is remarkable. The pizza’s underpinnings (dough, sauce, cheese) are great, top notch, much better than most, and the toppings always fresh and plenty. Never undercooked, never overcooked, always just perfect. No real eat in capability, but then we’ve never taken advantage of those vendors that have that as we’re always doing it takeout style. Highly recommended.
