It is a historical load, I grew up, eat her gelato, it was considered delicious for good children! I love chocolate and jelly, but there is a great selection of creams and fruits aromas.
Here you can enjoy gelato of highest standard. we always go there, it's a daily ritual!
Pasqualotto, gelato storico, corso w. colonna, marino, rom summer in italy and where better to explore the joys of the laterie, this would be our third gelato in so many days – as in pasqualatto’s shop in marino over lago albano and a few kilometers south of rome business, and, through the celebration of the > 90 years of services it is, after our friends who live there, still the most popular gelateria in the city. there were four of us – two couples – and we had a few hours at their place after we met last – to go back to januar in melbourne time to lunch and find that gelateria they had recommended. it was just a few hundred meters further on the hill to the center of marino, and around the corner of the fontana dei mori sgorga vino durante le sagra in the piazza matteotti. next to the gran caffé and under an old round tower, to which were added in the run of the years adjacent apartment blocks – new building design – the pasqualotto looked small and inappropriate. there was a similar tower over the business, this time with a battlement above, a wall walk and crowns built into it to protect the more defending. in the load was full of people who lean in the counters and the choices. it was hard to find out on these preferred options with more than two dozen colors/tastes – they all looked inviting. are always large in the local lyric; a case of buyer consciousness as they quickly lick / eat in the opposite too easy to search / wait when the cone or cup handed over to them. if it does not drip all over them and makes their clothing icky fall small is beautiful “– means that “small is more than sufficient”. the higher the ambient temperature, the faster they need to work. for our small bowls/coups we chose lime/kitchen and ginger/cook/coffee – and passed over the added cream. most native take cream topping – provided for free – but it tends to mask the original taste of the gelato. in any case, it is difficult to keep the two decisions separated after the first few leaks/bits, and thus the value of the selection of complementary flavor directions from the beginning. small bowls/coups cost 2.00 €, with progressive larger bowls/coups in steps of 0.50 €. Note that we have available three options/taste for our small bowls/coups on the pasqualotto – a more than usual for this size. we sat outside on the ground before loading on a handful of chairs/books and under a shaded roof area – but in full sunshine. we asked a local bikie to pull his roller on his stand before loading to make a few photos while we ate our ice cream and grinned on it. Now, can not be sure where we will all be this time next year. eat Italian ice on Saturday afternoon outside pasqualottos square in marino and enjoying today’s company – it was easy to move from words to thoughts that embraced our respective families in Europe and elsewhere. do not make a mistake, but the gelato was delicious. peter steele rom 26 august 2017
