Hansen's Brookside Bar & Grill and Pizzeria

I went to brookside for the first time today. it's worth the trip. great personal, great eating, live music and fun on the terrace.

Hmmm, the lunch menu for such a popular place on the st croix river. no more than 8 dinge on the menu. lame,. sorry to say. the taste? even worse. is it? we will not be back to lunch?

I often find the Cobb salad with steak by brookside. it is so good! great personal and atmosphere!

Coming in was amazing, we were told to sit anywhere we want. So we went out to the patio and choose a high top in the sun. However, after 20 minutes, we couldnt get the attention of anyone but saw 4 different waitresses ask one table if they had their order and 2 or 3 staff members setting up a bar. When we finally got the attention of one, she said “we dont serve there, thats why the dirty dishes are there.” We assumed that since there were dirty dishes, someone was served there perviously. With no signage, we had also hoped that someone would have told us before. Guess sit anywhere you want doesnt mean get served.

Friendly staff, and very good homemade dishes. Clean and quaint seating.
