Tortino Mare Italian Cuisine

I'm in loved with this restaurants ambience. Definitely makes you feel like your in Italy. The food is spectacular, I tried their calamari and a side dish of meatballs as my appetizers and had a grilled chicken salad as my main dish. I recommend this restaurants to anyone looking for a nice place to have a datenight or even hosting an event. They have ample space to host bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners. Beautiful place.

Genesis waited on us and she was so friendly and accommodating with my menu item adjustments. Very professional and personable as well. Management did a table visit and was very pleasant also. The food was excellent. I had chicken Alfredo and the chicken flavors were perfect to my palate. Hats off to the entire staff.

We had a fantastic meal! The carpaccio with burrata was perfect, calamari crispy delicious and the sauce had a perfect kick of heat, camila's pizza ranked as one of the better pizzas i've had in my life. The pepperoncino oil really made it outstanding. We ordered our pasta and steak entrees to go and they were still delicious upon arrival home. In Manassas for a convention and my friend and I decided to look for a nice, not to expensive restaurant for dinner. Using Yelp I chose Tortino Mare because the menu looked pretty good, the prices were reasonable and it didn't look like a fancy restaurant. When we pulled up to this store front restaurant we were in for a big surprise. The restaurant was huge with 2 large rooms (one banquet size) and a large outdoor seating area and all very tastefully decorated. The restaurant can hold up 400 people. The food and service was excellent. For an appetizer I had a prosciutto and cantaloupe salad. I have never been to a restaurant where the prosciutto filled the entire plate and it was delicious. My partner had a tricolor salad which was huge and well done. For my main course I had Tagliatelle Bolognese, and to be honest it was the 2nd best Bolognese dish I have ever had (only at an Italian Restaurant in Southern Germany have I had better). My partner had the Linguine Frutti De Mare which he enjoyed. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant menu is limited to a few selections that change often and the bar has an good wine selection. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to any one visiting Manassas Virginia or if you want a nice place to hold an affair.

The food was very good! You can definitely tell it is homemade. I got some type of crab ravioli, and there were a couple of pieces of shell inside of it. STILL it was amazing! My son had shrimp Alfredo. My daughter and husband had a pizza. Everyone finished their plates. We left happy! We will definitely return.
