Polpo Palm Beach - Manalapan

Service and food was amazing as usual. Had drinks first at Bar and Bartenders were great. Not only in terms of drinks but both so nice. Hostess also were pleasant and seated us with a smile. They are your first impression to set the tone for a great evening. The food is always outstanding every time we go. Also the gentleman at Valet are also so nice. Perfect beautiful setting for a great meal.

We live locally and so enjoy our visits to Polpo. The grilled Polpo appetizer is my favorite. The addition of ink was a pleasant surprise (although I missed the small arugula salad that was previously part of the dish). Don't skip the key lime pie. It's perfectly tart and almost too beautiful to eat! Our server was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning.

My husband I celebrated our wedding anniversary with excellent service, food, wine at Polpo Palm Beach. Our waitress, Yesenia, provided professional congenial service. We ordered different wines by the glass, which were delicious. Caesar salad was flavorful. We appreciated perfect seasoning white anchovies. My husband ordered an entree portion of caci e pepe, which perfectly balanced fine cheese black peppercorns with tagliatelle. My salmon special was attractively served over fava beans other vegetables. My salmon was so delicate delicious that my husband, who finds salmon too gamy, enjoyed tasting it. Our dessert, tartufo, had crunchy frozen dark chocolate shell good ice cream with frozen cherry. My husband liked hot regular coffee, not as strong as the coffee we prefer at home. I rate Polpo Palm Beach as top notch for fine dining.

The ambience is wonderful.. our salad was advertised as a seafood salad with lobster, shrimp and crabmeat.. our waitress was kind enough to tell us that it actually is a seafood salad mixed with mayonnaise and not just the seafood on the salad vegetables..she said she felt there was not a great deal of mayonnaise.. so, we ordered the salads.. she was correct, it did not have a lot of mayonnaise, however, it had a very strong spice flavor that took away from the taste of the seafood.. we will go back, however, we will try some other option on the menu .  L

My daughter and I were thoroughly delighted to discover Polpo, its fresh and perfectly season fish, vegetables and ambiance made for a super birthday celebration ! Perhaps equal to or beyond was our waiter, Will! Knowledgeable about all aspects of the food and wine selections, he was a quick to make us feel welcomed A wonderful communicator!
