Zara Indian Cuisine - Maldon

We arrived here on the off chance after realising that the local gastropub was only offering a 3 course menu as it was Valentines. I had booked but the website had only shown its usual menu and we didn't have the appetite for 3 courses. I can definitely say that this is one of the best Indian restaurant for flavors that i have been to in many years. I have tried many dishes here and all are just mouth watering and the flavors are just out of this world, The staff are very friendly and welcoming too.

The food and service were great! A really enjoyable meal, sad that it’s not around the corner to us as this would definitely be our go to place! Currently on holiday in Steeple Bay. Value for money! 10/10

We have eaten here before and enjoyed it so we thought we'd return, but.... having seen their hugely increased prices we have now booked elsewhere. They have lost our custom and will probably lose a lot more going forward as they are now surely the most expensive Indian restaurant in the Dengie.

Had a takeaway for two, the price of the meals in the old menu was 45 pounds when I picked the meals up they charged me 54 pounds, the price for my main meal alone had gone up from 13.50 to 16.95 , the food was as usual very good but i am afraid they are gonna lose business if they continue to treat their customers like this.
