Ocean - Maldon

Ordered tonight as soon as they were opened , food arrived in 40 minutes lovely and hot with no mistakes. All tasted good and fresh, nothing not to like large choice to choose from. Well worth a visit or a takeaway.

March 23rd *Read the front of menu firstly* !!! 10% service charge child under 1.4metres tall get half price food... Took my Son who is only just 10 but stands 5ft ... paid adult prices he only ate Noodles a tiny bit of our starter...£23.00 Very expensive noodles for a child of any height to be honest ... Actual restaurant ok ... pick what you fancy. Need to lose the height a child is NO way eating £23.00 of chinesse.

Went here recently for the buffet and it was lovely. Plenty to choose from on the menu, cooked and served to your table. All the dishes we had were very nice and the staff were very friendly too. We will definitely return for another meal in the future.

Ordered a delivery last night some confusion over the address not sure why as my daughter has ordered before so her phone is logged to this address. When food did turn up not as hot as normal due to going to the wrong address, but that said all tasted good, will still use them as we do like their food.

This restaurant is dated but the food is good, one major problem is if three of you order the same dish they will only bring out one portion, I have asked them why we cannot have three portions as three separate people want the same item, I was told when you have eaten that we will bring you more, its as if they are trying to take your money but feed the the least they can NOT IDEAL ! One other thing is we have two children who hardly ate anything, when the bill came I said you have charged for 4 adults but we have two children 6 and 8, their reply was look at the menu if the children are over 1.2m then you pay full price, again very harsh way of dealing with being fair !!!! Ocean, come on you could be very successful but i know of three separate families that will not come to your restaurant due to this height rule, just say anyone under 12 is a kid over 12 adult !!! The reviews on the staff are bang on, the female is lovely she tries really hard, the male server has had a personality transplant :
