Coast - Malahide

We would like to extend a big thank you to Paul and the whole team at the restaurant. Our group of 13 had a fantastic evening with delicious food and excellent service from the friendly, professional, and accommodating staff.

I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant with incredible service and a breathtaking view. Anastasia and Beatriz delivered exceptional service, truly enhancing the overall experience. Maahide has a hidden gem with this hotel and their exceptional service standards.

During our recent stay at the Hotel, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on our final evening. Open only on Fridays and Saturdays, it is a must-visit if you have the opportunity. The restaurant boasts a cozy and beautifully decorated atmosphere, with stunning views of the Malahide estuary. The staff, led by Restaurant Manager Tony, is smartly dressed, efficient, and exudes the charm typical of the Irish. Opting to skip starters, we dove straight into our main courses. My wife savored the "Catch of the Day," a perfectly cooked whole Black Sole with tender flesh that easily fell off the bone. The accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection as well. I decided on the Irish beef Fillet Steak, cooked flawlessly and complemented by our chosen wine. For dessert, we indulged in the delectable Baked Cherry Alaska with cherry gel and roast hazelnuts, which surpassed all expectations. The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to savor each moment and enjoy the picturesque views without feeling rushed between courses.

Breakfast is often the highlight of a short getaway for many people, and Coast in Malahide offers a stunning view of the waterfront and marina. The restaurant provides the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious breakfast as part of a memorable stay at the Grand Hotel. The buffet offered a wide selection of fresh food, from fruits to a traditional Irish breakfast, as well as European meats and cheeses for those with different preferences. The high-quality food added to the luxurious experience, ensuring a top-notch start to the day. The attentive waiting staff, particularly Tony, ensured a smooth dining experience for our party of four. We left feeling excited to book our next stay at the Grand Hotel and looking forward to another delicious breakfast at Coast.
