Pokai Bay - Makaha

Our dinner experience was absolutely delightful and such a nice surprise! We did a Google search and this little place came up. We decided to try it. It is definitely off the beaten path, but it is exceptionally clean, the food absolutely delicious, and the staff delightful. I rarely do reviews, but this place is certainly worth the time and effort. Enjoy!

This was a great find. We ordered 3 different dishes which were all delicious! I LOVED the pineapple turnover. I wish we had more time to try all the baked goods!

The people were incredibly nice and helpful. Food was excellent and had large portions. Deni was the best server and most kind person i’ve met in hawaii.

The garlic chicken is AMAZING. The best chicken I've ever had by a good margin. The people were super friendly and the space is cute.

I'm not sure how we found this restaurant but I'm sure glad we did. What a gem. My wife and I had the garlic chicken but with different noodles. Both were awesome. I'm not sure how they kept the chicken so juicey while deep frying them with batter but they pulled it off. Our guest had the katsu chicken which I also tried. This was also very good but the sauce really stole the show on that plate. My daughter had a cheese burger with some loaded fries which she really enjoyed. I tried the fries. The sauce was epic. This is must stop of you are in the area. And try the deserts!
