Muramoto Downtown - Madison

Exceptional every time. I am a very hard critic and could not even find the slightest criticism of food. I had a few losers before I wasn't the best. Sa for 10 minutes without drinking before you have to fly. But this is usually not the case. Not every server is the same. Eating A, atmosphere A, kindness A, total service B, total result A . One of my favorite places in all Madison.

Always good sushi here. Nothing exaggerates it. Great atmosphere and service. Favorite Sushi in Madison!

Best train mi in town, though not a traditional one. Everything bursts with rich aromas that are very addictive. Great lunch, only during the week. And many imaginative sushi rolls, some with a local turn.

Muramoto is an excellent place to get sushi and Japanese small plates. I highly recommend getting the Tempura King's Cream with muffled bear sauce when available. All I've ever had is fantastic. I have a black cod that is a highlight. They have an amazing dessert that is a strawberry spring roll and ginger ice cream. All their cocktails are good and they have a wide selection of wine. The restaurant is in a great location and the staff is attentive and delightful. I used to do and everything you can eat Sushi Night, which was very fun and tested the limits of our stomach. I don't think they do that anymore. I know they also opened a location in Hilldale, which I didn't think it was as good as downtown.

1 week living in a new city, and I'm so glad I stumbled across this place! The sushi is outstanding some of the freshest fish I have had in Wisconsin. They have a large sushi menu, prices are standard and the rolls are HUGE. Between my girlfriend and I we typically eat 4 rolls. Here, was can barely finish 3! If you are gluten free, they do offer gluten free soy sauce! Inside decor is cute it's definitely an smaller more intimate place. Lots of reclaimed wood. Cute spot for a date or dinner with friends. HIGHLY recommend. Plus, it's in a great area of downtown Madison.
