Denny's - Madison

Exactly what I've come to expect from Denny's. Predictable is what I'm looking for when I visit a Denny's and this place was a predictable Denny's experiencing every way that I can think of. The food was exactly the way it should be prepared based on every other time I've had Denny's. The staff was friendly, although not as attentive as some of the servers I've had in the past at other Denny's. When I entered it there were three servers standing together talking and I had to initiate contact before they noticed I was waiting for someone to help me. Overall the restaurant was clean for a Denny's, but If I'm being honest honest that's not a very high bar to get over. The furnishings are a little outdated, but that's also pretty typical for a greasy spoon diner and I'm okay with it. It snowed the day I visited this location and there was no attempt made to clear up anything except the sidewalk right in front. It was already pretty late in the day when I visited so I'm sure that they have a contract with somebody who could have come by at least once and had not. Denny's nise is what you're looking for, this is exactly what you're going to get.

Great food and service but the other customers in there while we were there were serious as*hats that Wouldn't shut up talking about disgusting things that weren't ideal during a sit down meal of ANY kind. Ruined our experience in alot of ways.

Great meals! Accesible prices! It's really a good place to meet with family/friends and enjoy good food. Previously, I had tried this meal without the bourbon glaze the first time I ate it. Honestly, I was worried about messing up the meal. This time, I tried it with the glaze all over it, and it actually was pretty nice. It's not overwhelming or sugary, just the right amount. Enjoy everyone!

The food was OK, and this location is SEVERELY understaffed.

I haven't been to Denny's in a long time. Was having a bad day and our waiter was excellent. The food was the best I ever had at Denny's. They have an excellent evening cook. I have never seen that location so clean.
