El Jalisco Mexican - Lynn Haven

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, and the service is top-notch! The owner personally checks on guests to ensure their needs are met, and steps in to assist employees when necessary. The staff treats each other like family, and guests can expect to receive the same warm and welcoming treatment.

We were seated right away at this restaurant, and were given complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa had the perfect level of heat, without causing any heartburn. My chicken taco was delicious, and the chicken burrito was amazing. I didn't have room to try the enchilada because I was so full from the chips. The server was great and the Mexican music playing added to the 5-star experience. I will definitely be returning with more friends to try more dishes. The lunch special is only $5.99, which is a great deal. The restaurant is located north of the Lynnhaven Walmart, on the same side of the street. I highly recommend trying it out! The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff are very friendly, however, they struggle to accommodate large groups. While most of the orders were accurate, any requested alterations were not always followed. Despite this, the food is incredibly tasty. The drink options are primarily limited to Pepsi products for nonalcoholic beverages, but there is a good variety of alcoholic beverages available.

I would give them five stars but there was something that I didn't like at all. I will explain it . . . The food was delicious as usual, service was fast and our server (a gentleman whose name, sadly, I didn't get) was very kind and professional. What I didn't like and I noticed was that all women working there have a terrible attitude. Their facial expressions and attitude are very unprofessional and rude. We were waving from our table to get their attention and one lady was just right in front of us and totally ignored us. Then, when leaving, I brought my check to the front and the same woman was there at the register and she barely directed her eyes to us and grabbed the payment with a very bad attitude. I don't know if they behave the same with all the customers or is just with their people (Hispanic) which is really sad because as compatriots we should be more kind and polite between us.

After a frustrating day, my quest was to eat at El Jalisco because their parking lot is always full. My husband and I now know why. The food, drink, service, atmosphere was great! We will definitely return. Thanks for a positive end to our day!!
