Tavern Fjaka - Lumbarda

Fabulous food!! Fresh catch of the day and home made pastas. Super friendly staff and relaxed environment. We had fresh sea bass on cauliflower purée with a side dish of roast vegetables. Delicious! Very drinkable house wine and all very reasonably priced. Will be coming again and again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kn 150–200

Employee ruined our dinner We were having a dinner at the open terace of the restaurant and since the terace is opened, two nice and clean cats came and moved around our table. We didn't mind, they were not boring, if you would ignore them, they would leave. Employee (waiter/cook? came to scare them off, we said it's not a problem, but he insisted and started leaning over our table and over my back to get to the cat. Cat was sitting on a stone fence, he came close to here and punched her in the ribs, which threw her off the fence! He then said with a smile that did not hurt her! Ironically, they have a dog bowl on the terace, obviously just to get bigger tips from guests with dogs. When we were leaving, they didn't even bother to say goodbye and thank you, just looked the other way, even though we were the only guests there. Food we waited long and it was swimming in oil.

Very friendly and helpfull. Food beautiful.. Will be back.

We have just returned from Croatia. We ate at Tavern Fjaka several times. The food was delicious, piping hot and freshly cooked to order. My favourite is shrimp with macaroni with a fresh salad. Front of house service is very good too. Will go there again next year.
