Bidrage med feedbackSure. Ex Porsche Chef Wiedekind really caught the fillet of the Rhine promenade landscape in Ludwigshafen. A few years ago he opened the Ur Tialini in Ludwigshafen, now there is the Tialini at several locations in Germany. We were here the last time 2 years ago, at the time I had a sensational pizza Tialini, but had disturbed me a bit about the sleepy service, and also about a too small dessert card and possible alternatives to the paste dressing for the tomato sauce. Also, at that time the water glasses have disturbed us, where we had tried to infiltrate white and red wine. Today we take the 4th tram (before our front door and get off at Berlin square). We wanted to see the first construction progress of the former cake box, on the grounds a 60 meter high office/living house with the name Metropol. However, the building blocks have not yet begun, so we went straight to the Rhine promenade. Arrived at the promenade, we lean very relaxed to the railing and enjoy the tranquility. On the other hand, we see the rostig star restaurant Marly, a little further behind Mannheim`s Rhein Promenade, once again a quick look at the Collini, then it goes towards Tialini and the Rhine gallery behind it. On the grey horizon, we can still see individual buildings from BASF: In front of the restaurant is a folding board” Pizza or Pasta” of 11.00 14.30 including a classic salad, with espresso and 0.25 water for 9.90. Sounds good, but inside is the same offer with the addition of Mo Fr. But we don’t let ourselves be fooled and wait at the front of the counter at the sign “Please wait here” but nobody comes first. After 2 minutes we'll be past the pizza counter and down a few steps. We are welcomed by the very friendly blonde service. She offers us two tables, but we want to sit nicely on the huge windows and decide for such a place. It's nice here. From the ambience, I don't think of the fast in Ma Lu anything better. In the background Italian music, the temperature is very pleasant. Cool/air/fresh air from the top, light heat from the ground – ideal if you come in from outside with jacket and winter equipment. On the very clean polished dark wooden tables is already a clamping board with some extra dishes, where the water in my mouth is halfway down. The service comes and brings our support, on one side the drinks, on the other side the food. We order a yeast (Erdinger vom Fass 0.5 for 3,90 as well as a small Cola Light and already for the first hunger the Bruschetta Tonno for 5,90, with the hint to want to share the dish. After 10 minutes the appetizer came. On two larger white bread slices, this was slightly baked/d, then came the first highlight. The spread was a tuna caper cream, and there were rukola and cherry tomatoes in the middle of the plate. For seasoning, the sea salt and a pepper mill were placed, as well as a fantastic chilli oil and dried chilli spice. The classic olive oil and balsamicco. We didn't miss anything. After a further 5 minutes it went on. I ordered a homemade lasagna (10.90 , my wife Spaghetti Pesto (8.70) to order her a pizza bread with garlic for 1.50. Let's start with the weakest one. The pizza bread reminded more of Indian Nan bread, crunchy thinly baked and with very little salt. There was also a lack of salt and pepper in the Pesto noodles, but there was no lack of much to iron it out. The spaghetti had beautiful bites, all round. Sensationell was the lasgan. The noodle dough plates beautifully layered, the sauce very fruity and firm. On the map it was found that Convenience products were completely dispensed with, so the noodle plates also had a taste that is slightly desirable, similar to the Casa del la Pasta in Mannheim, since the noodle dough plates are also produced without flavor enhancers. But in itself was the big cinema. I just wished for a little more sauce, I had ordered the sensational little self-made pizza rolls in an extra basket. In conclusion, the chilli oil was used again: we finally enjoyed something sweet. I chose the self-made Panna Cotta with raspberry sauce, my wife for an espresso with a ball hazelnut ice cream. Both excellent. Conclusion: Located on the Rhine promenade, Tialini attracts with views of passing ships and a Catalan Italian cuisine. It's nice that the wines are now present in real white and red wine glasses, and there are more numerous alternatives for pasta nuts in the Rhine Neckar area beside the tomato sauce. We're coming back!
