Shotzys Grill - Lubbock

1 of the bar tenders was rude. Throwing a coster at me as i ordered a drink. They had a DJ for karaoke. Requested a song. He said someone already requested it.. 2 hours later the song was never played. I won't be going back. Sad it used to be a goodbar before they were bought out.

They will overcharge you. Went there tonight and they charged me for 8 beers when I only had 5 on my tab. When I tried to speak to the lady behind the bar and my waiter they wanted to argue with me. I will NEVER go back to this bar, be sure you pay afterevery round and not start a tab because they will try to charge you for drinks you never ordered or received.

Went on a Friday early afternoon because we heard good reviews of this place. We sat down and were given drinks and menus immediately. We waited half an hour and our order still was not taken. I understand the bartenders double as servers but it wasnot busy and a few people who came in to the bar after us were attended to immediately for their drinks and food. After the halfhour, we decided to just leave and upon walking out we were even told ?thank y?all?, so we knew we did not go unnoticed theentire time we waited for our order to be taken. I hate to say I?m very disappointed in our experience here.

Look. When you see the name Shotzy 's Bar and Grill incredible food and service may not be the first thing that comes to mind. It should be. In this Local Guide 's opinion, it is THE BEST burger in this county. Hell, maybe this country? I don 't know, Ihaven 't tried them all yet. It isn 't just the burgers...the daily specials are fantastic too. Hamburger steak? You bet...andit 's delicious. Meat loaf is special too. And the chicken strips. The bartender, Crystal, is an absolute gem...just don 't giveher a hard time or she 'll give it right back. Highly freaking recommend.

We went there for the first time. I had the Philly Steak with zets, and my wife had the rubies with onion rings. My wife liked the Ruben and the philly Steak was also good. The onion rings are made with red onions, and the bread is made there every day. The onion rings are made to order. The bread is really good. The onions they themselves have more of a mild taste. That's not a bad thing. It's just if you want more of an onion taste on your onion rings, you might want to get something else. Again we liked her. The waitress/bartender was very nice and friendly and came to see if we needed something. She was the only one who worked on the front. The beer comes in small and large. The large is a 32oz glass (at least from the tap). They also do karaoke, but not when we were there. Over everything I give him 8.5 out of 10 and will go back there.
