Stoney River Steakhouse And Grill

I decided to go out to dinner for my Birthday and I selected Stoney River Steakhouse. When I arrived and was seated, I was sitting across from a fireplace and it was extremely hot. Not warm, but hot. The heat was unbearable, so I requested anothertable. Yes it was 72 degrees today. Once I was reseated, I ordered a bourbon drink (Draper), New York Strip (Pittsburghseared) with Aug Gratin Potatoes. Everything was wonderful, especially the mini rolls they bring out with sweet butter. The server was very attentive and the food was cooked to perfection. It was candle lit and very romantic!

The absolute best crab cakes we’ve ever eaten and the steak salad was bounteous in quantity and outstanding in taste. A full meal, it came with filet mignon pieces, candied bacon, chunks of avocado on a lettuce bed with a special dressing. The interior was delux, great open kitchen, and service was faultless.

Stoney River is my favorite restaurant ever! I love the atmosphere, the friendliness, the food is amazing! My favorite is the San Francisco Spinach Dip with their house made tortilla chips, their steaks are phenomenal, Creme Brûlée is to die for. I would definitely choose this place over Ruth’s Chris or Jeff Ruby’s any day. I can’t wait to go back!

Celebrated our 5th anniversary. Our server, Andrew, was great. Attentive and fast, but not intrusive. Food was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, and courses timed perfectly. Can’t wait to return. They also gave us complimentary champagne as it was our anniversary. World Class Service. Well done, Stoney River.
