Flame Broiler - Los Alamitos

There were several flamebroilers and this is quite consistent. When I can, it was quite quiet and empty, but my food was still freshly cooked and prepared quite quickly. Consistent proportions and quality from my experience, so it is nice to know what you get.

Three days ago we ordered the chicken plate with Brown rice and another dish with Tofu and Brown rice from this restaurant. The chicken pieces were completely dry and tasted as old and frozen as if they were left in a freezer for months! The brown rice was uncooked and hard. We have dried the food after trying 2-3 pieces of chicken and some rice noticeably. Restaurants serving such foods insult their customers? Intelligence! People pay money and expect to get good food. If they don't get it at your place, they will turn to so many other options out there.

This is the best flame broiler in the chain. Food was high quality customer service PERFECT! Especially thanks to Wendy the Store Manager. Wendy is an extraordinary employee. Got white rice, it's great. But more than half of the chicken was over cooked and the burnt taste can't be covered by teriyaki sauce. Hopefully it was just a one-time mistake.

A bit out of the way in a small strip mall area, but a very well run restaurant. They appropriately enforce the current coronavirus precautions. Their cashier only manages the front table, and their cook manages everything else. Very friendly service. I've been to a number of restaurants where the cashier ends up touching the food, too, without hand washing before.
