Java Minute - Longview

I was looking for a place to have coffee and a light lunch in a charming rural setting. This restaurant was exactly what I was looking for, and we were pleased that they were open because there are limited options in Longview during the winter.

I often drive through Longview to get to our place in British Columbia. Ian Tyson used to frequent this place back in the day. Now, whenever we pass through Longview, we always stop at Almost Gas for some great coffee and ice for the grandchildren. They are always open and serve really good coffee.

The staff was not pleasant, coffee was watered down and coffee cup was omitted! we would not return - very disappointing.

On the way back to calgary. the food was good and so was the laugh. the service was top notch. the prices are somewhat high, but expected in a small city

I decided to skip the gas station and stopped at this restaurant instead for a coffee and a snack. The place was cute, clean, cozy, and had friendly staff. I ordered a drip coffee, but it wasn't great. Perhaps the espresso drinks are better? I bought some baked goods elsewhere - they were Saran wrapped and overpriced, not quite what I was hoping for in terms of homemade treats. However, the washroom was definitely nicer than a typical gas station bathroom.
