Gusto Food and Wine Bar - London

Called to book a reservation and the man on the phone was rather rude. Made the reservation anyways but in the end decided to cancel it and go elsewhere after reading reviews of less than in awesome service.

They try hard to be fancy but generally fail. The service is slow. The food is just okay. Some things like their soup were quite good. But the burger was tough and the fries terrible little toothpicks. The pizza was just okay. Beer selection is below average and wine list is basic but okay.

Not a relaxing experience. Server/host was intimidating and we couldn't enjoy our meal. Not going back!

Very nice restaurant. Bathrooms are excellent, clean and probably newly done.Very nice atmosphere. Nice size facility.The Lamb Shank is great on a bed of very tasty risotto with some vegetables.Gusto Signature pizza is very good as well.The Orecchiettte con Salsiccia e Rapini is however. not the best dish on the menu. Very bland taste with a fair bit of spice burn. Not sure how they accomplish that mixture, but they did.

This is a gem in Old South, Wortley Village. Relaxing atmosphere and great food and wine. My husband and I took up a spot at their bar for dinner, we did not have reservations. The service was great. Dinner was a little slower than we expected. but it is The Village after all therefore located in the perfect place. Not a lot of seating. Food was worth the wait.
