Merchants Tavern - London

I've eaten here at the weekend and it's just crazy loud out of the bar, which doesn't make the food so great. but at a week night, eating is still delicious and service super, but you can hear each other. all our dishes were simply mouthy delicious.

Beautiful atmosphere and pleasant staff, but the kitchen was a great relaxation. our rather laborious starters were served within 5 minutes of ordering, but the main event took another hour and a half to materialize. we were advised that the fish will take longer to cook! when they arrived, our nets were excellent and extremely underwhelming. great bar area, but I would give the restaurant a missing one.

This in one of our favorite restaurants in shoreditch and we often come here! the eating is delicious and the atmosphere is great, unfortunately they had two employees of sick who really affected the service it was very slow, but the guy on the floor did his best.

I've been there before, and I think the standards have broken down. the food felt overpriced for what we got and I thought the service was just ok to clarify the food tasted nice, but there was not much money, e.g. just a large bowl spaghetti with a small amount of lobster hidden in it. it did not feel refined enough to order the price tag.

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful light and ambience; great service; top notch food
