Durell Arms - London

Had beautiful fish chips on a football matchday. service was very fast and friendly. beautiful traditional feeling for this pub. quite expensive, although £12 for 2 beer. but guess on the fulham road will be around average! would definitely return.

After a booking of more than 2 months for my brothers 30th birthday, I received a notification to the day that the kitchen had “technical difficulties” and would be closed for the day. I called and spoke to someone who just said, "kitchen is closed". I could not believe that the restaurant would cancel a big booking for a Sunday dinner without announcing. at least they would have a rebooking and maybe a discount or a few drinks offered on the house. but I have the impression that no one in the restaurant ensured that my family and I were left for a special celebration without a lunch booking. a very good treatment of customers and even worse service of management.

We had a booking for Sunday roasts. sadly they were fried and when we decided on the buttermilk chickenburger, it was really poor. for a few gloomy, but sadly again, they had burned the chocolate brownies, so we had to send them back. pity, like a beautiful atmosphere in the pub, just leave from the quality of eating.

Food was amazing! Staff were very helpful. The only thing I’d which was difficult was that there menus weren’t updated and there kids menu was very limited

Durrell arms is looking a bit tired and run down. I think since Covid it has lost some of it's luster. This was Champions League night so good atmosphere but only 3 staff behind the bar so long wait to order drinks and no one on the floor. They need more staff and the place requires a thorough clean. Food was good .. kitchen service was quick and the 3 burgers we ordered very tasty.
