Le Cayrols - Livers-Cazelles

After we traveled through the region for a few days, we were so disappointed by the local restaurant scene until we found this gem. fantastic eating, fresh local products with a modern twist. menu is quite small, but everything we tried was delicious. location is. about 10 minutes drive outside the city, from the beaten track, would be difficult to find without gps. they will not find better food in the opposite. call back!

The restaurant’s location complements perfectly the quality of the food: It is excellent and beautifully presented. The fresh produces and wine are from the area. Thumbs up to the young chef with innovative dishes and his specialty “ l’emulsion” which is just delicious . The...team is helpful, welcoming and evrything runs smoothly. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back in a heart beat !!

We have just returned from a great bank holiday weekend and chose to stay at the B&B based to the rear of this restaurant. On Saturday night we chose to eat 'in ' opting for the restaurant on site, the surroundings are simple but honest,...there 's something great about eating outdoors! The choice of courses was enough, 3 options for starters, mains and dessert and the quality was extremely good. Both of the waitresses where fabulous, very friendly and helpful to assist with our lack of french aiding us with their english. The food was beautifully presented, hot and was simply amazing with the various tastes of the produce coming through. The choice of wines and beers was enough to compliment the night and we wont hesitate to return at some point for another meal. We booked our table for sitting at 7:30pm and noted that quite a few locals came just after 8pm where the service became slightly more full..... so would recommend a slightly early sitting than that of locals. Would recommend if you fancy something slightly out from Cordes itself.

Off the beaten track you find a quirky art garden. You may think have I come to the right place? Yes, you have arrived at one of the best restaurants in the south of France. Beautiful menu prepared from fresh, tasty high quality ingredients and...presented on gorgeous crockery in a relaxed setting. We went for a special family celebration and it made our night. And not expensive for the quality 35€ for 3 courses.

If you like good food, please make your way to Le Cayrols when visiting Cordes sur Ciel; excellent quality and value for money !
