These little lanes are where many a good meal can be found, and whilst you don’t find a laneway here, you will find good food. Little Hutong is a suburban gem which has been feeding the people of Little Bay for a number of years. The restaurant occupies a large modern space with an industrial feel. There is a splash of colour provided by the portrait oil painting of girl eating noodles, featuring one the owners daughters.
I moved into the area a little while ago and we keen to give Little Hutong a go. We were not disappointed. The menu was an interesting step up for the normal asian menu. We shared a number of dishes and enjoyed them all.
Came here with a friend awhile back and sampled a number of different dishes from their menu. Excellent quality and presentation; enjoyed every item. It's been awhile so I'm hoping to return to check out if anything's changed.

We went here on a Saturday night with no booking. We were able to get a table straight away. Friendly and attentive staff. It had a nice atmosphere with industrial type decor. Generous size portions at a reasonable price. We had 3 cocktails, 3 entrees, 1 main and 2 desserts and it came to a total of $100. Unfortunately there were a few items that were unavailable on the menu that we tried to order, but we were given a discount off the entire bill for the inconvenience. The soft shell crab and the Nutella balls and banana fritters were the stand out. Worth a visit if you are in the area and are looking for something a little outside the box.
