Yerbabuena Mexican Cuisine - Lisle

Tasty Mexican in downtown Lisle. The fresh chips and salsa were a great start to our outdoor dining experience, followed by good margaritas. The steak enchiladas and steak tacos were superb and big portions. Will come back on a weekend and dine on therooftop.

That was probably the worst Mexican food I ever had. from the beginning the salsa was the extremely bland. I had to add a lot of salt to taste something different than watering tomato, and when I asked if she had something spicier, the waiter said that that was the only one they had. we had a burrito and enchiladas and again, extremely bland and lacked any taste at all. the drinks were in order for me to go back for a drink, but probably never try to eat again because the prices were for the quality.

We absolutely Love Yerbabuena! We have been enjoying this lil family owed business in the quaint down town Lisle. Which also deserves a mention! We started with drinks out doors while waiting for the rest of our family to arrive! The staff treats you like family! They care enough to ask about everything to make you experience all the more enjoyable! Seated inside in a spot that was perfect for our family so we could have nice conversation ! Everything we ordered was delicious there is truly something for everyone! This family owned restaurant is amazing ! We always look forward to our next visit! Buen Provecho!

Chips salsa with guacamole $18?!The price is fairly high throughout the menu. Now, we wouldn’t mind as much if the food was absolutely amazing, and the service was on par with that. But it’s not. The food is just ok. And the service just seems very ho-hum. I just don’t get the impression they care about the customer as much as they do raking in the cash.Sorry Yerbabuena. We tried 3 times. We won’t be back.

Went for dinner as a double date and 3 out of 4 of our margaritas were incorrect. Food was okay and salsa was runny.
