Achari - Limerick

I ordered a takeaway from Achari Limerick last night and unfortunately there was a large hair in my partner’s Korma. While the Bombay Aloo that I ordered was tasty, we were disappointed and shocked by the lack of quality and attention that resulted in a hair being in the dish.

Very basic restaurant. Taste is okayish. Prices are better than other Indian restaurants but the taste is not up to the mark. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant over a couple’s of years via deliveries sad to say that the taste has deteriorated since the first time I ordered in 2020. Hope they improve the taste with better quality of food.

Ordered food last week, lamb madras was ordered and it was chicken that was put in , and my pilau rice was ordered but not included so €19, worth of food never received. I've never had a problem ordering before, they seemed to be short staffed but again it isn't good enough after spending €65, it is a shame and will put me off returning.

The poppadoms were soft and floppy when they are meant to be crispy. The naan bread and rice was cold, no bit of heat off it. They gave 3 Coke Zero when I ordered coke classic. Very bad experience!!

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, especially the chicken avadh. The rice and naan are also exceptional. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
