Café Kujira

Great little cafe! good coffees, teas, matcha lattes and they sell the delicious white chocolate mushrooms from Chez Guillaume !!!! The place is small but cozy. Only downside: closing at 3 p.m.!!! :

One of, if not the best matcha lattes I've had in Montreal.

Coffee wasnt worse or better than usual, but the real problem is the awful sandwich i got that consisted only of a single slices of meat and mismatched cubes of cold butted for ~10$. Its probably a nice place to get your morning coffee and study tho. Maybe it was bad luck but i dont believe it since it was promoted on the menu as being new . Big brain idea.

The customer service is incredibly bad. The barista greets you with a face that looks like she doesn't want to work there and is desperate that she can't get out of work. On top of that, they forgot the sandwich we had bought and after 30 minutes of waiting, we went to ask for a refund so we could leave because they were going to close. The barista asked why we didn't take it to go? as if it was obvious that we had to respect the fact that she had forgotten her order and make up for it. What's the point of eating there then?

Absolutely love this cafe what a gem in the Plateau! The food is so delicious and fresh, the ambience is cozy, and the barista named Louis is absolutely the best! I always look forward to visiting and leave feeling happy! Truly a unique spot to just enjoy and appreciate the friendly neighborhood vibes. So grateful for Louis and his amazing service and smile.
