Bidrage med feedbackThis Korean restaurant in Lidcombe is one of the best, offering delicious sides and great value. The cheese kimchi pancake was a delightful guilty pleasure, while the fried boiled dumplings were filled with tasty ingredients. The kimchi hotpot was also quite enjoyable.
The portion here are huge, also not very expensive. We had the kimchi soup and seafood pancake for two people it was more then what we could finish. Not a large very large selection of dishes. The cooking does however feel very home cooked more of a comfort feel to it.
The restaurant is in need of a decor, that doesnt stop the locals from crowding the place during lunch and dinner time though. They serve rather different Korean dishes like even, the basic bibimbap and the soft tofu seafood spicy soup have unique twist to them. I find it nice and dare I say, maybe more catered to Koreans? I also find the Bossam (steam marinated pork belly with variety of greens, sauces and pickled spicy veggies here has the best taste in Sydney so far :
$42 for a BIGGGG pot of spicy beef stew which was filled to the brim with bean sprouts, mushrooms, noodles and dumplings beef was lean! Totally exceeded my expectations Comfort food on a cold rainy day : service was efficient, will definitely come back again!
We had a great time at this cozy Korean restaurant. We ordered the sausage hot pot with noodles, kimchi pancake, and dumplings, and all of the dishes were delicious. The majority of diners were Korean, which added to the authentic atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
