Bad effort. Steaks were overwhelmed and hard like boots. The staff was amateur and pretty cheeky. No manager worked and the main cook was at a busy wedding so this could explain the food. No excuse for this level of service. Good reports about this place, but not be back. Better opportunities in the city. Must improve a lot.

We found this place on the map after walking and came at a very strange time for food. The staff welcomed us and we sat in the garden room. It was a calm and peaceful meal in a gorgeous place. Their daytime menu was good, but I liked the look of the evening menu better. I recommend walking to get your appetite because it's so beautiful on the grounds of the estate. “A real Treat”. The food here is exceptional, every last bite is mouthwatering. The dishes are the perfect size for and are presented beautifully. There is a good selection for kids so it’s a perfect place for a family meal. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. Very friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. If I had any criticism it would be it was quite hot in the area we sat (conservatory), there was sliding doors but it was still very warm. There is other areas to sit so next time I will definitely book to sit within the restaurants main area.The food was so delicious that it was worthy of 5 start review.
