Bidrage med feedbackWe're here in Les Gets for some summer walking. We're not skiers but we're keen to visit the region to see the different countryside in this very different French region. We had dinner tonight at the Flambeau in the town. It is very informal dining with superb service from the owner, Fanny. Her husband, Gerald, is the chef, who has created a very interesting menu. Our friends had the raclette and we had perche with the most wonderful frittes. We really enjoyed the white wine, Roussette de Savoie, and ordered another bottle. The rain tonight was very heavy but we had a really fun enjoyable evening in this top restaurant. Phil & Carol White.
This was our second visit and both times the food was delicious - the tartiflette and desserts were amazing. The service was great and the lady who was front of house was a lot of fun.
The service was terribly dismissive and rude. What a shame as it overshadowed the experince. Very simple good food.
Fantastic food, amazing local wine, wonderful personable service, intimate size with open kitchen hatch to watch the chef preparing the dishes, we had a couple of requests which were met beyond expectations , the pumpkin soup served with croutons and local cheese was simply superb and the skirt steak with red wine and shallot sauce was also excellent The menu is entirely in French but our server was happy to translate for us Highly recommend
As a fan of tartiflette i really enjoyed this one. I could say that it's not big enough but it comes with salad and a plate of cooked meat wich is way enough.
