Bidrage med feedbackWe finished the second mosquito pod coming from Schsoft in Leiwen. After we had moved to the guest house/house Alexanderhof (good rooms for hikers), the operator provided us with tips for dinner on request. Unfortunately, on Monday evening there is only the possibility to return to the wine house Weis, the rest of the gastronomic farms has rest day. Thus the choice was made quickly due to lack of alternatives. A few hundred meters went down to the village to Mosel, then we arrived at the Römerstraße 10. The restaurant was well visited. Where else to go? There was no room on the terrace, and almost all the tables inside occupied. On request we got another table in the room. I felt moved back to the locals of my childhood, typical ambience of village guesthouses from the 70s offered us. The map offers a blend of petty-bourgeois and Italian pizza and pasta kitchen. Crossover seemed to be our destiny on the hike. Well, it's better to have a well-made pasta on the moss, than bad local cuisine. And Pasta is the lover of the hike! The wine card made happier! A Grans-Fassian Riesling dry Laurentiuslay GG 2012 stood on the map for unresolved 29 EUR! Faster was never bought VDP wine...... What should we eat? As an appetizer, my wife and I chose soup. My wife for a carrot ginger soup who liked her well. I wanted to know how seriously the cook took his Italian ambitions and ordered the Tuscan tomato soup. The result was satisfactory. Why do you have to hide a tomato soup that tastes so well under cream (I forgot to notice leaving it away)? The soup was fresh, had a good acid-sweet game and the basil also found itself when I had removed this cream bonnet. We stayed kulinar in Italy and ordered two pasta dishes al Forno as the main food. For me classically simply a lasagna, for my wife Combinatore, ergo 4 different pasta varieties baked with Bolognesesauce in the oven. A salad plate for both of us as a supplement. The lasagna was neat, that was not the worst of my life, even my wife was satisfied, but could not cope with the mountain pasta. This also happened to some other tables next to us, it was just too much. Only my lasagna was served in a size that allowed full consumption. After the main course an espresso was absolutely necessary. The service was limited to serving dishes and drinks, but this is not something else to expect in this place. Actually, a repetition of our restaurant visit an evening before in Leiwen, tidy food, but nothing, which is why you want to come back. Served quality is on average. However, the wine remained sustainably in memory. That was an unbeatable PLV. The photo with the wine prices will be presented to some gastronomics here in Münsterland, whose GG does not start below 60 EUR per bottle. Conclusion, you can visit if no other alternative is available.
