Skratch Bakery - Lee's Summit

As soon as you walk in the door the amazing smells bring you back to grandma’s kitchen!!! The cafe is adorable!! Would love to be able to sit and chill for a while but due to the constant county restrictions prevents this causal experience! The cashier was so helpful and friendly with her suggestions!!! Her eyes gave away her smile behind the mask!! Prices are a lil steep but the pastries are amazing!!! You will not be disappointed!! Try them out!!! I will be back!!!

My son and wife visited The Skratch Bakery today for breakfast. It is a little hard to see from the street, but I think over time they will build a following. When you first enter into the Bakery, you will notice the cute decorations of antique and baking materials hung all over the walls. It works exceptionally well and gives the restaurant an inviting feel. The staff is amicable. There is plenty of seating and even a couch, to relax! The menu is a little tiny, but I bet they can easily add more to it. We had cinnamon rolls, B&G, and a biscuit sandwich. Overall everything was perfect and came out quickly. The owner or management came out to ask how things were and even offered my son a cookie ! We will visit again, and we wish the owners all the luck in the new venture.

Picked up breakfast pastries Saturday morning and I'm so happy I decided to get extra ones for today. Hubby and I savored and devoured!! The pastry is amazing, filling wonderful and not overly sweet. I'm disappointed that I just now found this bakery.

The danish was good, the red velvet cake was good, the chocolate croissants were not. The chocolate was hard. Maybe I should've heated them. The chocolate cake was really good.

When you visit this Lees Summit bakery, the first good thing you will notice when you walk into the store is how good it smells. Fresh baked sweet treats. Next is how the bakers describe the goodness in each of their baked goods with such pride. Then when you get home is when the deliciousness takes over.
