Cracker Barrel - Layton

The catfish was perfect. Crispy, cornmeal crust on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. The coleslaw was the best Ive had since moving to Utah from Texas and this is the only restaurant Ive found here that has good, ol fried okra as well as the southern fried catfish. The only thing missing was the hushpuppies!

Sweet n smoky glazed tenders and the chicken fried chicken was just what we needed! Loaded hash browns were semi soggy by the time they delivered, but to be expected. Highly recommend for a filling "comfort" meal!

Not worth the money! The Biscuit Beignets were doughy and uncooked in the middle, the Dumplins was just bread and cream of chicken soup it was thick gelatinous and hardly warmed. Our dasher was very fast to pick up and deliver our food so I dot think it has to do surf that. The Fried Apples were good but its hard to mess up apples lol. Just go to the rester-aunt

The food from Cracker Barrel is generally good, except for this time, the food was cold which had to be heated up, the house salad was just that a house salad. As for the chef salad it was more of a house salad than a chef salad, it wasnt worth $13.64! I wont ever order from Cracker Barrel again!
