John and Cook's BBQ - Lawton

Love the food never ever ever had a complaint. But as a business owner i know what it means to show EVERYONE kindness and respect tpu treat each and every customer like they are QUEENS OR KINGS of it doesn't matter because they are number 1# they have they're order as they requested apon order. The ownership or management towards some is lacking greatly I spent nearly $80.00 dollars with a family 5 and was treated with inpatients and as if my business meant nothing to them. I know in business everyone matters. But no matter caused the food is absolutely DEVINE. Indubitably

The smoked chicken brought me to the restaurant today. I was craving it the whole time I was on the road from Okc to Lawton. Bursting with flavor, juicy, tender pull off the bone chicken. Great job. Service could have been better. But I'll be back that's for sure.

I love their food. I especially love their Hot sauce,and usually take home a quart and sometimes a gallon like today and take to my brother in Texas. Always very friendly and fast!!!!!

A different flair of sauce flavor for a good change, more of a chili emphasis, which was unexpected. Unfortunately the ribs and pulled pork were pretty dry, which had me using more sauce that covered most of the flavor. I would love to catch the meat straight out of resting from the smoker for more true taste. The cafe style dining area was quaint and a nice home town feel. Not a full chili inspired BBQ fan, but only lowering to 4 stars for the dryness of the meat.

Was looking for good ribs that wasn't a chain and John Cook delivers. Ribs and pulled pork dinner. Ribs were juicy and flavorful. Pulled pork cooked perfectly and good with bread and coleslaw. BBQ sauce was warm and spiced well (not too sweet)
