Bidrage med feedbackWe were on the shores of Lausanne and decided to go here for dinner. It was either a fast bus or train and went there about 15 minutes. I'd recommend the train because it's getting you a little closer. We have... it's a little late when we were rained halfway from the bus stop and had to call a Uber the rest of the way. The staff was very nice, although I'm pretty sure that it closed near the kitchen and served us very quickly. We had the lasagna and the curry were both delicious. The menu is in French and I'm not sure if they had an alternative as it was late, so we just used google translate on our phones if we were not sure what was. The atmosphere was very nice and I would recommend this as a date night, but not a family dinner place as its finer cuisine.
I read about the change of management of Cafe de Chavannes in the magazine and wanted to try. The magazine has not written a very friendly article about it because probably the journalist like to eat too much meat. The new cafe is now oriented on a vegetarian vegan menu. I personally prefer this kind of menu about other things, but when I visited this restaurant I was with my wife and she loves meat. We were both extremely satisfied with our experience. The food was extremely tasty and different from the usual vegetarian things you find around. This is probably due to the mauretan influence of the owner's wife. We had one of the best pumpkin soup we could ever taste. I also took an assortment creole of some samosa and other type of fried beignet. As a second court I had a vegetarian burger, it was delicious. I'm going to visit this restaurant more often, I hope they have a place when I left, the restaurant was full.
Fantastic food that fits its fresh ingredients in terms of different seasons and is performed fantastically.
This is a beautiful place, usually quite quiet, with soft ambient lighting and good food. Many meats, though not really a vegetarian place.
Cafe-restaurant with small dining room separated from the bistro Food good but no salad or vegetables with main courses Wine card good with reasonable swiss wines
