Bidrage med feedbackFinally get a chance to try the TKK chicken in the States. Took a while to find the place because it is share the shop with two other brands. Ordered chicken thigh, drum sticks and wings...the only thing I can say is disappointed. Nothing close to the original Taiwanese favor and quality. Thigh and drum stick were dry inside out and taste strange. The wings were freshly fried and are much better, still juicy inside. Saw both good and bad reviews for this shop, that means their food quality is not stable. And unfortunately, mine is a one.
Horrible customer service. I attempted to buy a 12 piece mixed (half spicy and half mild) and I was told no I could not mix, but after they realized there were not enough spicy pieces, I was offered half and half. So it?s not about the customer wants, but what is convenient for the staff. There was a 12 min wait for old and greasy fried chicken that was under a heat lamp and then reheated to an unbearable temp. Chicken was so greasy with a distasteful after taste and chicken bones were so brittle they crumbled at the touch. A hard no! Popeyes is less than a mile away. Don?t waste your money.
The chicken was undercooked and greasy, the coleslaw tasted like plastic container!! If u want a drink then sure , but no for chicken!! I?ll do Popeyes !!!
The only reason I?m Giving them a 4 star is because the chicken is rushed or cooked too high. The food and drinks are soooooo yummy though. Just ask them to fry hard or check your food insides before you leave
Don't waist your money! This was a greasy mess. Tasted like it was cooked in burnt old oil. I wound up throwing it out. Even the biscuits had a funny aftertaste. My wife said slaw tasted like it had fish oil in it. Ordered one kwa kwa bao and well looked like it had been ate before.
