Bidrage med feedbackI recently returned to this restaurant with my colleagues instead of dining at our hotel. The service was good, and we were warmly greeted and seated. We visited during the middle of the week, so the restaurant wasn't too noisy, though there was a NHL hockey game playing in the background. Thankfully, the noise was muffled, allowing us to have a conversation without competing with loud music. The menu offered a variety of dishes, including burgers, ribs, and seafood. However, the restaurant fell short in a few areas. Customers had to choose between meat or fish and then select a side of baked potatoes, fries, or vegetables. The portions were huge, with the baked potatoes and vegetables overflowing from the plate. None of my colleagues were able to finish their meals. It seemed like the restaurant was cutting corners by serving oversized portions. Three of us ordered steaks, but only received various dishes. My steak was overcooked, but I didn't send it back as long as I could eat it. The prices were reasonable, at $20 per person without wine. Overall, this second visit did not impress me enough to return unless it was my only option in Montreal.
I feel like the general consensus for me for this restaurant is sort just not amazing but not bad.
We were warmly welcomed by a friendly, attractive gentleman who also happened to be our server.
This is my third visit to this restaurant. The drinks are unique and delicious, with detailed descriptions.
