Sparrow Wolf - Las Vegas

After spending several days on the strip, I was seeking something a bit more interesting for dinner. I researched and found Sparrow Wolf and I cannot recommend it enough! Do not let the drive to Chinatown deter you.I made my reservation with Luis G. who turned out to be the GM. His warm and charismatic spirit was such a pleasant surprise! He happily welcomed me when I arrived, checked on me throughout my meal, and chatted with me while I waited for my Uber.The best entertainment was behind the bar: David! He had me laughing and chatting throughout my meal at the bar (please ask him about his apron pins, especially the Tabasco ha! . I wanted to try out the restaurant week menu but let him know that I couldn’t have lactose. I told him to surprise me so he and the sous (Brennan, I believe sent out each course without telling me what to expect and I found each one to be adventuresome and delicious. On top of that, David suggested cocktail pairings for each that were marvelous and unique. I closed the night with my favorite Japanese whiskey and though I ate too much wonderful food, I would 100% do it again at S W.Thank you all for the incredible hospitality and experience. I will be back with my husband and friends in tow have recommended you to everyone I hear is traveling your way!

We had an amazing experience and Sparrow Wolf, Monday July 17th, 2023. We were doing some research before our trip and came across this find and made a reservation. We were a party of 4, made some notes as to what we were celebrating in the reservation notes which they paid attention to. It's off the main Vegas strip in China town and worth going off the beaten path for. The ambiance and food is spectacular. Once seated we were greeted with warmth and had a discussion about the special occasion we were celebrating. Our dessert also addressed the congratulations on the plate. Any staff member that came to our table exuded the same vibe, they knew what they were doing, they liked what they were doing and knew how to look after you, even if they were just filling up your water glass, professionalism love showed through. We paid attention to what was suggested as to menu items and went with all the suggestions and a few of our own choices. There is an explosion of happiness in every mouthful in any dish, and you feel exactly what the name means the delicateness of the sparrow the more powerful wolf. There is a softness in every dish with the contrasting explosion of flavor. The food was so good all 4 of us had a hard time ranking the dishes...we had 4 appetizer dishes, 4 main courses and one dessert all shared. We left nothing on our plates, we enjoyed and savored every bite. Cocktails were another hit we loved the names, and one of them has a $3 donation towards the world central kitchen fund (until Sept 30th) which was a hit with us! I wish I remembered everybody's names so I could mention them in this review. We left just before sunset and there is great photo opportunity in the front of the restaurant, their sign lights up and there's an arch and a bench and back drops signs we got some great memorable pictures, and food pics during dinner! Family being together celebrating/tourists in Vegas! This place gets 5 star rating. It's spectacular. I feel as if I was somewhere very special and Chef and kitchen staff you all have amazing talent. Thank you.

We had pleasant diner with friends here. I put 4 of 5 just cause We tried degustation menu, courses was super small but time between them was super long. Our waitress was nice and restaurant made us favor for our vegetarian(pescatarian) friend made special meals. We will give a chance and visit again but order a la cart. On weekends recommend making a reservation

A must try when in Vegas. Excellent food thoughtful and well presented
