Hennessey's Tavern - Las Vegas

The place seems kind of small, so I'm sure it gets fairly full. But we came here for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't that busy. We both ordered the fish and chips. It came with 4 pieces of fish, which were small but thick and delicious. The tartar sauce was also very good! It came with fries and cole slaw. The staff was really friendly and the food came quickly. This place is great, but try to come here when it's not busy for the best experience.

Hennessey's Rocks!. The place is great for the Rockabilly/pub crowd and especially fun out on the patio or upstairs at LVCS for a show. The music is always great and the vibe is always fun. The food at Mickie Finnz (Hennessey's sister bar) right next door is great. The calamari is to die for and the drinks are always cold and refreshing. More of a fun atmosphere than fine dining for sure!

If you're going there strictly for food, you may be slightly disappointed. It's not gourmet cuisine. However, the staff is fun and always ready to refill your drinks. And the food is an excellent companion to a great beer.

Underrated and unappriciated! The urbanspoon ratings for Hennessey's are way off base. This place is awesome with cold beer, good food, friendly and efficient waitstaff, and most of all a fun atmosphere. No this probably isn't the restaurant to propose to your sweetheart at, but then again if you do and she breaks your heart you'll have plenty of friendly folks offering to help you drown your sorrows. Oh another note: the owner Paul... are you ready for this... Hennessey is a regular to this location of his 15 or so. Don't be suprised if he stops by your table to check on how you're enjoying your visit. Hennessey's earned 5 Stars in my book.

We were so pleasantly pleased with everything that the Hennessey had to offer. It was so good we went back twice. They had a Burger special and drink special going on and we thought we would give it a try. We sure glad we did. Burgers are definitely homemade and amazing flavor. And I substituted a Margarita because I was kind of beered out at the time. Don't just walk by,go in and check out how good it truly is for yourselves. They always have some sort of specials going on, and live music inside in the evenings.
