The renovations made to Redwood Steakhouse in the California hotel are great. Before the restaurant was dark and small and now it's big and lighted. The food there is great. I would recommend the Caesar Salad and New York Strip and the Filet Mignon as well. Their Vanilla Bean ice cream is great too. So if you're staying at the Cal and you want a great place to go for dinner go to Redwood Steakhouse.
Our server Yule was attentive and knowledgeable of the food items. We decided to share our food portion within our party because we would be too full to eat the entire meal. It was a great dining experience for all. I always dine here at least once during my stay at the CAL. Never a bad experience.
