Alice's Diner - Lancaster

It was great. We showed up a big party. You had no problem joining us. The waiters and waiters, where so nice and friendly we had an explosion. The food was good. It was a great time. Everyone has to go to Alice's Diner

This is the third time in the past year I have tried Alice's. The staff is wonderful friendly, accommodating, with very little wait time after seating. The restaurant, itself feels dirty and the food has been sub par at best each time. Today's experience was the worst. My dad and I went for lunch today (again, super friendly staff). The chili was watery, not flavorful, and overly sweet just not good. The egg salad was just awful (stale, old taste), and my chicken salad was yellowish/brown on top like it has been sitting for a very long time on top of old, browning lettuce. We each had 1 bite and gave it back all of it (which I have never done before anywhere). I can understand 1 item not being good, but all three? It wasn't that the recipe wasn't good, the food itself was bad/poor quality. Three time's a charm. I will not be returning. The only reason I put 2 stars instead of none or one is because the servers and staff were wonderful.

Great random find the morning after a wedding. Had a delicious bacon egg and cheese bagel, hash browns and the pancakes were good. All of the staff was nice and attentive.

I have been going to Alice?s with my entire family for years. They are always so accommodating to our group. Great food, great service, and even better pricing for the quality of food. I highly recommend Alice?s for some quality diner food. Extensive menu to accommodate all appetites and ages. Great family owned business worth supporting in the local Lancaster community.

My wife and I gave Alice's a try for breakfast today. The atmosphere is worth coming for alone. Most booths had riddles written behind them, so it made for a nice game to play while waiting on our food Service was great, and staff were nice and attentive Food was very good! Definitely worth a visit!
