Galloping Gertie's - Lakewood

Is this place actually permanently closed? The website says it is. I saw it in a recent movie and it seemed strange to see it closed, but in the movie, it was shown as open.

Ate at the same restaurant, which was bustling with military personnel and their families as usual. The atmosphere felt like a big city for our troops. The waiter was very knowledgeable and experienced.

Customers feel right at home at this restaurant. The service is quick and friendly, and the portions are huge for a very reasonable price. It is conveniently located above the I-5 near JBLM.
