El Tapatio Mexican - Lakewood

Food was not good and it sucks because I have always been to El Tapatio when I’m craving good Mexican food I drove from Commerce City to Lakewood to be disappointed.. Had some Shrimp ala Cucaracha the sauce was good but the shrimp tasted under cooked and the lettuce and Orange they gave me looked like it had been sitting out since yesterday all dry and colorless, the lettuce was wilted and avocado wasn’t that fresh.. This place is usually good but not this time . Server forgot a few things as well might give it some time before coming back

The food there is horrible. It's hard to believe they're still in business.... No Bueno!!!

The food is always consistent and the service is good. We try to go during the week and avoid the crowds on the weekend. It's near our neighborhood and a go to for Mexican food. Steak nachos are always a good pick. Pretty much anything we have had has been good. Being from Texas we are picky about our Mexican food. Prices are reasonable for the portions.

Love this place. Go there at least once every time we come to Colorado to visit the kids

Worst Mexican food I've ever had. Very dry, over cooked, bland, impossible to eat.
