Chili's Grill - Lakeland

Half of the food was good , half of the food was bad, cold fries, chicken cold , we had a good server but just in general is gona be the last time here. You can see how dirty looks the kitchen...

Greeted promptly. Seated quickly. Our waitress came over fast to great us. We ordered chips and dip. It came out fast as did our drinks. I ordered a tap beer. She put two on our table. I said why two? It's happy hour she said. Bonus! The food came out quickly too! Great portions, hot and fresh! This is one of the best Chili's we have eaten at. We are from the mid-west.

I went with my family right before closing. In fact, they were already putting up the chairs, but the waitress took her time in serving us. She,was amazing. Very nice service. Her co-worker, part of the kitchen staff, very politely came to our table to inform us that the soup of the day had already ran out. But, he offered other choices in lieu of it. Was happily impressed. Thanks Chili and staff.

Kara was great! She made sure all our food was good and my vegan substitutions were made correctly!

The food really wasn't good. Most of us didn't eat it because it was either old tasting, dry or hard. But our waiter was good and he was very attentive. I just think a few restaurants aren't the same since covid. And normally that would be understandable but with the prices going up, as a customer you expect some level of decent food. Get Customer service, poor food quality.
