Chen's Wok - Lakeland

Another questionable Chinese food restaurant that's obviously not clean and just looks like all the others.

Greasy overcooked, not a good interpretation of Chinese. If you want the real deal you gotta try Joyful in the kathleen publix plaza. They are closed on Tuesdays and I was craving Chinese so I tried chens wok but it cannot compare with joyful which is fresh and delicious. Here my fried rice and lomein were so brown it looked like they were drowned in soy sauce and cooked in very used woks. Advice would be to clean the woks and focus on freshness

10/1/2023 First time here for dinner. Ordered Hunan beef chicken lo mein with Fried rice combo $10.95/each). Food is tasty and big portion. And egg roll is bigger than other restaurants. Will visit again when in the town.

I give up. Won ton soup was right, however chicken chow mein plate was shredded chicken and cabbage soup, white rice not pork fried rice as advertised and no egg roll as advertised.

Chinese food they do not sell bean sprouts, poor service, very poor food quality. Highly do not recommend!!
