Good food. Decent price. Nice view. Great staff. When in LP we just keep ending up back here.

Service was great, food average, atmosphere a little above average. A little pricey though for the quality of the food.

Really happy with my experience at Black Bear. Food was good and there was a great view of the lake. Prices are a bit high but worth it.

Fantastic food and service, we were just blown away by the hospitality. Our group of 5 enjoyed two great diners during our ski trip to lake placid. Highly recommend the ribeye steaks, excellent.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Black Bear Restaurant in Lake Placid and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food was simply phenomenal; each dish was made with care, resulting in an explosion of flavors with every bite. The service was equally impressive, with a staff that was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality made the evening even more delightful. If you're in Lake Placid, the Black Bear Restaurant is a must-visit for an unforgettable meal
