Grotto - Lake Charles

This is a small place in Golden Nugget Casino, but the food was very good and very full. We got an appetizer, a salad and a duck and divided him three ways and had leftovers. Our service was also excellent.

Great restaurant, as long as they opened it. However, the menu has decreased and also the hours of operation....

Very good. Pizza did not seem so crispy (and took an excessive time) compared to previous visits. It also seemed the grotto salad had a dressing that was tangy as the last time. Overall but a very pleasant experience. We had a very attentive waitress who was apologetic for the delays on the pizza. I couldn't ask from a service perspective anymore. We'll be back.

The food is really fantastic. Always make a reservation because they have less than 15 tables, so it is a mini restaurant that quickly books. As long as you book the day before or before you leave your fine. The assessment of three is due to the proportional size? not quality. Quality is a 9. Portions are less than small. For a 19.95 Chicken Marsala I expect that not enough food to maintain the inner role?. It wasn't. Love Golden Nugget simply not the cost reduction savings on part. Tilman, if you plan to cut parts to save, what is a ?business smart? Then decide your price to reflect it.

The service was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Often times my soda was refilled before I needed to ask. Delicious tasting Italian food. The antipasta selection was very tasty. I wish the calamari had a slightly lighter batter. The noodles were al dante and the presentation was beautiful. Definitely will be back. I'd recommend this Italian restaurant. It is a little more on the pricey side $15-$25 plates.
