Pi Artisan Pizzeria - Lahaina

Best pizza EVER!! The 3-some meatlovers was spectacular! Hubby had the delicious meatball sandwich. You will not go wrong eating her, and watched whales jumping the entire time!

Pi Artisan provides really great pizza and appetizers. The staff is great, good natured and helpful. It has a wide view of the water in Lahaina. It's informal and was great fun for us. We ended up going twice on our trip. Like many Lahaina restaurants they are wide open to the view, so depending on the weather it might be worth bringing a light cover. (We didn't need it, just t-shirts/shorts) We ordered the Firecracker Wings (twice) and loved them. I wish I could get the recipe for the firecracker sauce. I swear wars have been started over less. We also had 3 pizzas from the menu, Prosciutto BBQ Pi and Pi 808 Loved all, but the BBQ Pi was my favorite (had that one on both visits). We had heard after our visit that the Garlic Knots are great, but didn't get a chance to try them. (Will have to go back I guess, dang We have been going to Lahaina for years and just decided to try this place. It has become an instant favorite for us.

I have no idea why this place isn’t packed with a line around the building….outstanding wood fire pizza, great service, cold beer, and one of the best views on Maui.As I’m writing this message, I’m literally finishing up an awesome perfectly sized pizza with a cold beer and watching humpback whales jump out of the water.If you are on Front Street, do yourself a favor and come grab a slice.

DISCRIMINATION!!! The worst experience ever. We came in today with our service dog. It was around 4pm. The restaurant was almost empty. They only have one table. We were kicked out to the back patio area immediately. The manager told us we cannot be seated with the normal ocean view dining area because we have a dog. We showed them the medical record from the doctor and how she was a certified service dog. It is not just a dog. But he refused to listen. He showed the look of disgust. It is the first time in my life where I feel discriminated. I feel like I am a second class citizen and I have to seat elsewhere. This is UNACCEPTABLE. The service dog is for a medical condition and not for fun. Clearly not everyone is welcomed here. It is ashamed because I live here. I will never come back. I don’t deserved to be treated like this. No one should. Shame on you manager at Pi.

Our favorite dinner in Maui! Wow...those meatballs! All the food we had was splendid. Excellent friendly service. Fabulous view of water and a block or two down from the real hustle and bustle of Front St so it feels less hectic!
