Thai Plate - Ladera Heights

Long time customer and regular to this establishment. Can't go wrong with their Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Shrimp Tom Yum, and Thai tea. By far the the best Thai food in Inglewood and is really close to Sofi Stadium and The Forum, great place to eat before a concert. There's also additional parking in the back of the restaurant, you do need to go through an alley way to get there, but definitely worth it when dining in. They have a very homey feel with their service, despite the language barrier. Definitely coming back!

To anyone who thought nothing could be dirtier than the baseboards in this place…wait til you catch the attitudes of the people who work there.

This restaurant is beyond terrible! first we received our drinks, they were sickeningly sweet and when my mother asked if they could add some more tea to her thai tea so it was less sweet they proceeded to just add milk which just made it worse! Then when it was time to pay with no warning before hand they proceeded to tell us that it was cash only! Like who carries cash? We tell them we dont have cash and they say theres an atm around the corner, okay..? My mom said that she would go see the atm. Awhile passes and shes still not back! I am thinking to myself, should i just leave.? Finally my mom gets back and after all this they say i can pay with zelle. Food was bad, service terrible, DO NOT waste your time or money on this restaurant.

Restaurant looks incredibly ugly, bad decorations, and a TV that displays ads only. Thai tea and Thai coffee were disgustingly sweet. this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth, it was so sweet you couldn 't taste the coffee or tea AT ALL- just pure syrup. the food also wasn 't great but not outrageous. the total for a tea, coffee, pad Thai, and a pineapple fried rice came out to 44 dollars. 8 dollars for each drink! we complained about the drinks to the water when she asked how everything was, and her reply was, back there, (motioning to kitchen) we followed the recipe. like okay? it 's still disgusting. we tried to pay and she revealed it was cash only. in 2024 cash only is a red flag. all we had on us was our phones, and after 15 minutes of arguing, we zelled. overall, horrible horrible experience. please don 't go here. we passed a lot of better looking places on our way to this one.
