Bidrage med feedbackWe had some problems, but the owner of the hotel did the right problems that emerged. We appreciate it and look forward to a visit. The room- was a junior suite designed by Philippe Starck Design, it wasn't...our taste, but taste differs. Its design style is minimalist and much chrome and mirror. The hotel has a spa and swimming pool. The pool is covered for cooler periods a real bonus in winter for the region. Breakfast buffet with hot cooking facilities. The staff is well presented in splashy white uniforms.
Good food brunch very food, good breakfast, fantastic staff, bathroom design room and shower and toilet door
We wanted to try the Skiff Club, but it was fully booked so we ate in the bar of the hotel (it also has a terrace and pool areas) The service was excellent, the food was very good we ate wagyu beef Cheeseburger...and they had a jazz due on Saturday night was not expensive, light and exactly what we tied up...
Beautiful hotel designed by Philippe Starck Super Suite and pool area. Staff very helpful and attentive.
When one thinks of travelling to a resort town in France, le Cote d'Azur is probably the first area that comes to mind. My wife and I recently needed a place to chill while driving from Bordeaux to the Basque Country. Our research brought us...to the Hotel Ha(a)itza and its sister property La Co(o)rniche in Pyla-Sur-Mer. We did know what to expect. Located about an hour's drive west of the centre of Bordeaux, both hotels are located at le Bassin D'Arcachon, quietly nestled in a residential neighborhood along the sea and next to the Dune du Pilat, the largest sand dune in Europe, or so we were told. Net net: these are stunning, modern Philippe Starck-designed hotels offering every amenity you could desire. We stayed at the Haaitza and took our dinner at its charming cafe across the way. The next morning we took our petit dejeuner at La Coorniche with its breathtaking views of the protected sandbars of the bay. We had a suite, tastefully decorated in light woods, with a thoroughly modern aesthetic, down to the mirror above the (vibrating) bed, which we learned about after the fact. The 36-room hotel is just a year old. La Coorniche, which is just as modern, is smaller with 25 rooms, but no less luxurious. I think the photos I've included with this review will do it more justice than my prose. Suffice to say, this was a highlight of our two weeks in France, Spain and Portugal.
