El Toro Mexican - La Porte

Food was good but not as amazing as I was hoping considering the price. 20 bucks for a nacho plate with 8 chips on it.

Food and service was good but dang is the food expensive or what?

The food and service is always excellent. I usually order fajita enchiladas or chicken crema enchiladas and both are delicious. Chips are thin warm paired with red salsa green salsa.

I used to love this place until they took their best items off of the menu. It's like they only serve meat eaters. They don't even have vegetarian rice. I will not be coming back, their drinks are pretty good, and overall it was a great place until now.

Definitely not what it used to be. All low quality ingredients. Packaged tortillas, hard chicken fajitas or maybe just over cooked, even the green salsa doesn't taste like it used to. Won't return and won't be ordering for catering either. Sorry El Toro but you guys used to be better.
